Taking great steps forward every month with collective knowledge and actions

Thematic working groups are at the center of our activities. All JBIB regular members are required to join one or more working groups in accordance with their interests. Working group members gather monthly either in person or online, and discuss and develop solutions for the issue they are working on. These monthly group meetings are the core activity of JBIB.

Themes we are working on

Group discussions are about real difficulties they experience in their business, and the results are directly fed back into the daily operation of each company. JBIB’s work is practical, and each working group’s theme stands at the forefront of the debate on how corporations relate to biodiversity.

The themes for working group activities are reviewed every year and working groups are rearranged, if necessary, according to the interests of the member companies.

As a result of these working group activities, we have issued a number of unique and practical reports and guides. Please see Publications for details.
